Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Office 365 Administrator to join our team and manage our Office 365 environment effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting Office 365 applications and services to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience. This role requires a strong understanding of Office 365 components, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This role can be based in any of our US office locations and is a hybrid role. Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location, with the flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days a week, blending the best of both worlds for efficiency and collaboration.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer and maintain Office 365 tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security settings.
  • Configure and manage Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other Office 365 services.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Office 365 services to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain security measures, including data loss prevention (DLP), conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, and best practices for Office 365 administration.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Office 365 applications and features.
  • Stay up-to-date with Office 365 updates, new features, and best practices to optimize the environment continuously.
  • Assist with Office 365 migration projects, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.

Ideally, You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Office 365 components, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 security features and best practices.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for Office 365 automation and administration tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or MCSE: Productivity (preferred).

  • Full of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organization
  • Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies

  • Willing to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole picture

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 + benefits + bonus

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
